The Secret Mission: C.I.² comes to life through activities that bring cystic fibrosis and the visible and invisible challenges it presents at school to life in a way that is experiential, creative, and easy for children to understand.
From its very beginning to school presentations and educational workshops, the campaign creates learning experiences that foster empathy, acceptance, and collaboration.
At the same time, it sparks a meaningful dialogue about diversity, the power of mental resilience, and the “Hidden Abilities” we all have within us.
The Beginning of the Secret Mission
The Secret Mission began its journey in September 2024 at the 52nd Book Festival at Pedion tou Areos, with the presentation of the first edition of the book “Secret Mission: CF,” which was aimed at children living with cystic fibrosis.
Through an open, hands-on event featuring talks by experts, games, music, storytelling, dance, and the participation of young and old alike, something very important emerged: the need to share this story with all children.
The public’s response showed that cystic fibrosis is not just a disease that affects a few people, but an opportunity to talk about “invisible” challenges, empathy, and the strength that every person carries within themselves.
This is how the second edition of “Secret Mission: K.I.²” came to be, featuring updated content—an educational campaign that expands on the original vision and is now aimed at the entire school community.
Interactive school presentations featuring experiential learning
In 2025, the “Secret Mission: K.I.²”, the second edition of the book, was published and began its journey through schools. What started as a story for a few children has become a mission for everyone.
Students become “Secret Agents” of K.I. through experiential activities that combine storytelling, theatrical games, role-playing, and creative activities. The classroom becomes a space for meaningful dialogue about diversity, resilience in the face of challenges, and the children’s “Hidden Abilities.”
The response from students and teachers since the pilot programs began in December 2025 has exceeded all expectations and confirms something even deeper: Children are ready to understand. We just need to give them the space to do so.
The students at the 4th Elementary School of Thebes and the 2nd Elementary School of Agioi Anargyroi are the first “Agents” of the Secret Mission to crack the K.I. code and discover their Hidden Abilities.
There was a large turnout and a lot of enthusiasm for hands-on activities full of imagination, play, role-playing, music, and positive life messages.

Teacher training seminars
In December 2025, the first free online teacher training seminars were held, with participants from all over Greece, and these seminars will continue in 2026.
The seminars cover cystic fibrosis and the importance of organ donation, as well as the educational philosophy and implementation of “The Secret Mission: CF²” in the classroom, with an emphasis on experiential learning, empathy, active student participation, and a safe approach to health issues and “invisible challenges.”
The keynote speakers for the seminars are Dr. Zoe Krokou, a specialist in special education, and author and illustrator Liana Denezaki, while Anna Spinou, President of the Panhellenic Cystic Fibrosis Association and a person living with CF, and Konstantina Giannaki, Vice President of the Association and mother of a child with CF.
Teachers become allies of the Mission. Because cultural change begins in the classroom.
In 2026, the Secret Mission continues to grow, unite, and inspire
- New school initiatives in more cities
- New series of webinars
- New educational materials & classroom tools
- Strengthening the digital education community
Our mission is to bring to light the hidden talents that every child possesses.
